Building and Land Tax Directorate

Out of our belief in establishing the principle of justice and equality and in strengthening the concept of broad participation by laying the foundations of good governance and devoting to the concept of social justice in assignment and distribution among all groups and segments of society, with the aim of enabling these bodies to provide the best services to the fullest extent.

Directorate of Buildings and Licensing

This directorate is responsible for supervising and controlling the process of organizing construction, monitoring and implementing licensed plans and supervision

Engineering Services Directorate

Implementing and supervising the projects of establishing and maintaining the Directorate of Engineering Services for roads, buildings, and other projects, and preparing tender documents and tenders for various municipal departments.

Directorate of Health and Environmental Affairs

This directorate aims to regulate markets and prevent the use of sidewalks and streets for purposes other than their designated ones, as well as supervising and monitoring the work in the municipal slaughterhouse, in addition to combating rodents and stray animals, as well as carrying out awareness and environmental education campaigns.

Tenders and Procurement Directorate

The Directorate of Bidding and Procurement is one of the directorates concerned with the process of managing procurement and bids in the municipality of Salt. It manages the processes of preparing, submitting and referring bids, and following up on the supply of required materials. It also carries out purchasing operations for all municipal departments and projects.

Legal Department

This directorate is concerned with looking into cases brought by the municipality and its affiliated areas and the cases brought against it at all levels of litigation before the regular and administrative courts.

Directorate of Studies and Development

The directorate aims to advance service work in the municipality and raise the economic and social aspect through investment projects aimed at attracting investment, expanding financial collection, increasing revenues, and developing financial management tools.

Cultural Department

Since its establishment, the Cultural Department has worked diligently and effectively in supporting culture at all levels, making significant changes in the field of cultural work, and making great strides in this field. This department has also been a supportive backbone for cultural activities.

Directorate of the General Office

Coordinating work between municipal agencies and their affiliated areas, following up on correspondence, organizing incoming mail records and distributing them well, and working to provide distinguished and high-quality services to all categories of customers through the Public Service Office.

Directorate of Geographic Information Systems

Geographic information systems are considered one of the modern technologies that are witnessing wide spread due to the scientific solutions they provide and assistance in decision-making. The Geographic Information Systems Directorate undertakes the tasks of converting and digitizing geological maps.

Directorate of Parks and Parks

The directorate aims to preserve the green spaces in the region and work on their continuity and constant care for them to present the city in a decent appearance to its people.

Organization Directorate

It aims to work on managing growth planning and various development works to reach a sustainable city characterized by its cultural and natural heritage based on natural, economic, social, demographic, urban and traffic studies.

Directorate of Regional Affairs

Each of these eight areas affiliated with the Greater Salt Municipality carries out specific tasks, through which municipal services are provided in accordance with the municipality’s plans and policies.  .

Public Relations Directorate

The Public Relations Directorate forms the link between the municipality and the local community sectors by carrying out many different activities entrusted to it, establishing various programs and activities in cooperation with various local community institutions, disseminating the municipality’s vision, and following up and monitoring all matters related to the municipality in all audio and visual media.
