Al-Momani added through his account on the “X” platform on Thursday: “We remember with honor and glory what Jordan took of a historic, fraternal, Arab and lofty stance with the Palestinian people. We were and will remain the closest to our people in Palestine and the ones who exerted the most effort and work to defend them and their just cause.”

He explained: "We harnessed our political, diplomatic, media and humanitarian tools to support the Palestinian people, and His Majesty King Abdullah II used his stature and international contacts to support the just Palestinian cause. His Majesty's efforts played a major role in reformulating the position of world public opinion towards the aggression against Gaza."
