A massive popular march was launched in the city of Salt today, Friday, after Friday prayers, affirming support for the firm Jordanian position led by King Abdullah II, rejecting any attempts to displace Palestinians from Gaza, and renewing allegiance and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership.

The march was led by the mayor of Greater Salt, Eng. Muhammad al-Hayari, along with local community bodies and members of the Salt tribes, along with a number of governorate deputies, members of the municipal council, and the president and members of the governorate council, in a scene that reflects national unity behind the leadership.
